Keith Joseph Gioe, passed away from cancer on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 9:45 p.m. at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Wanda Ann Bonnaffons Gioe. Father of Keith J. Gioe, Jr. (Cindy), Baretta Ecklund (Donald), and Ciji Terrebonne (Timothy). Stepfather of Melissa C. Hills (Blunston) and Raymond Cerniglia, Jr. (Christina). Brother of Gayle Klein (the late James “Jimbo”), Judith Lee (Allen, Sr.), Pauline “Tina” Gioe, Kathy Dyess, Laura Reilly (Gerard, Sr.), Ferrel Gioe (Lois) and Ronald Gioe (Helen). Loving grandfather of all his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Carlo P. and Stella Mae B. Gioe. Mr. Gioe was a native and longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of Pearl River, LA for the last 11 years. Keith was a long time employee of AutoZone and formerly of Arabi Cab Company. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A mass of christian burial will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
