Doris “Dot” Alice Croal Williams Hunsinger passed away on Friday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Williams, Jr. from February 7, 1948 until his death on December 6, 1973 and the late Arl A. Hunsinger from February 18, 1978 until his death on October 22, 1993. A native of New Orleans and a resident of St. Bernard Parish for 64 years. Mother of Keith Williams (Carolyn) and Lynn W. Thibodeaux (Larry). Grandmother of Blair Williams (Brandon) and Joseph J. Williams, III, (Shannon), and Cher Brownfield (Scott). Great Grandmother of Lauren Brownfield and Peyton Brownfield. She is survived by her sister Elaine Croal Sena, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents John David Croal and Ola Beatrice Stouff Marchadie. “Dot” was a homemaker most of her life, but prior to that she was employed at the Jung Hotel on Canal Street and Standard Fruit Steamship Company. A private service was held Friday, February 22, 2019.
