Dolores Marrero Campo passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Armon Bennett Campo for 67 years. Loving mother of Denis J. Campo and the late Armon Campo Jr. Daughter of the late Domingo and Olivia Marrero. Proud grandmother of Michel Aguilar (wife of Luis). Great grandmother of Logan Alexander, Lucie Alexandra Aguilar. She is also survived and fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dolores was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who treasured her family. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to her devoted and loving caretakers, Bubba, Elaine, Frankie, Kim, Mildred, Patricia and Sonia. Relatives and friends attended a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 followed by a funeral mass.
