Michele “Shelly” Ann Catalanotto Garza passed away on February 13, 2019 at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Ollie Catalanotto. Mother to Brandy Schneider (Kevin), Michele Rando (Jason), and Vickie Garza (Jose). Michele is the beloved wife of the late Alvaro Garza, Sr., and loving daughter of Victor and Wanda Catalanotto. Sister to Natalie (Owen), Michael and Bryan (Kerry) Catalanotto. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews, including her doting nephew Shane Hingle, whom she loved dearly; and many friends. Michele was born in New Orleans, LA, and raised in St. Bernard Parish. She was a St. Bernard Parish resident for 57 years. Michele was a loving and caring person whom loved all who loved her. Michele loved to be surrounded by her friends and family. She also loved to sing karaoke as often as she could. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the House of Judah, 5909 E. St. Bernard Hwy., Violet, LA.
