Captain Charles Lindberg Dixon passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn McNab Dixon. Loving father of Nona Jones (Lanney Sr.), Edith Woods (Roy), Sharlene Dixon, Max Dixon, Carlos Dixon, Carla Dixon, Danielle Dixon and the late Oral Dixon and Ray Dixon. Son of the late Wilbur Dixon and Leola Jackson Dixon. Brother of Wilbur Dixon (Nina) and Vera Bodden (Edgar). Proud grandfather of Lanney Jones Jr., Landon Jones, Travis Woods, Tessa Woods, Thomas Woods, Trevor Woods, Wilbur Dixon, Orin Dixon, Shanna Dixon, Owen Dixon, Oral Dixon Jr., Haley Dixon, Emily Dixon, Jayden Dixon and Annie Dixon. Also survived by 6 great- grandchildren and his wife Ligia Dixon. Charles was born in Roatan, Honduras and was a resident of St. Bernard Parish. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W.
