Former Chalmette resident, Richard E. Boyce, died on September 7, 2016 at his home in Livingston, LA where he has lived since Katrina. Richard is survived by his son, Rik Boyce; two sisters Sharon and Diana; 11 nieces; and four nephews. A burial service was held at Louisiana National Cemetery on Friday, September 23, 2016 in Zachary, LA. He was buried with full military honors due to his 30-year army national guard career.
