Shirley Lee Thedy, a former resident of St. Bernard Parish, passed away in South Carolina on July 27, 2019 after a year long battle with cancer. Shirley’s seventy-fifth birthday was two weeks prior to her passing. She passed peacefully with her daughter’s Darlene and Laura by her side. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Allen Charles Thedy who passed April 2, 1997. She is also preceded in death by her younger brother Kevin W. Johnson. Shirley is survived by her daughters Darlene McNulty and Laura Hendrix, two grandson’s Michael and Garrett McNulty, brothers Mitchell, Glenn, Richard and Timothy Johnson. Shirley moved to South Carolina in 2000 to be closer to her daughter Darlene, and, at the time, her first grandson Michael. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
