Frank Eugene Maggiore Jr. was taken too soon after complications resulting from COVID-19 on April 17, 2020 at the age of 62. Born in New Orleans, LA, on April 22, 1957 to the late Thomasine and Eugene Maggiore. He was the devoted husband for 42 years to Joan Rivet Maggiore and loving father to Mallory, Elizabeth (Mark), Gregory, Benjamin, and Mary. He was the proud “Papa” of two grandchildren, Samuel and Elliot Schorr. He is remembered with love by sister Thomasine (Jimmy) Evans, brothers Patrick, Michael (Pam), and Peter (Mankie), and many nieces, nephews, and long-time friends. A lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish, he worked at Luzianne for 44 years, loved the city of New Orleans, local photography, and live music. He could be found throughout the Crescent City on weekends taking photos. Frank will be remembered for the laughter he brought and will be missed tremendously.
