Leatrice Rolfes Bosse passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, in Covington, LA just three months shy of her 100th birthday. Leatrice was the beloved mother of Linda A. Thonn and the late Glenn J. Bosse. Loving grandmother of Mark E. Thonn (Adele Ahrens Thonn), and Tiffany Bosse Lubrano (Robert Lubrano). Great-grandmother of Corbyn H. Thonn, and Justine E. Thonn. She was the aunt of June Ann Rolfes, Ronald Rolfes, Oliver Bosse, Karen Bosse, and the late Carl Bosse. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late George J. Bosse, by her parents, the late Katherina Oldenburg Rolfes and the late John Rolfes, and by her brother, the late John Rolfes, Jr. The family would like to extend a heartfelt debt of gratitude to the staff of Heritage Manor of Mandeville, and of St. Tammany Parish Hospital, for their unwavering care, compassion and support in Leatrice’s final days. A funeral service will be held in Leatrice’s memory at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, in Chalmette, LA. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
