It is with a heavy heart we announce the loss of our beloved “Butch” Lind on August 15, 2020 at the age of 59. A lifelong resident of St. Bernard, LA. As the beloved son of Donna and Carlos Lind, Sr., he was also the father of Shad Lind (Myndi), and grandfather of Jordan Lind and Kaylin Roger. Butch is also survived by his two brothers, Carlos Lind, Jr., and Jeffrey Lind (Rhonda). In addition, he was the former husband of Tammy Nicosia. Companion to Betty Medine and a host of family and lifelong friends. Although Butch had numerous talents and skills (a welder, contractor, etc.), he loved working on the water most. Always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. Butch’s fun, quick wit, sense of humor and caring heart we will miss the most. “Butch, the night you passed, we witnessed that ‘Bright Shooting Star,’ we believe this was a sign you were at peace. Until we meet again, ‘Fly on High’.” Due to COVID-19, a private memorial was held.
