Robert E. Pepperman, a Retired Marine, Vietnam War Veteran and Purple Heart recipient; lost his battle against cancer, but WON a place in heaven with his Lord and Savior, on November 2, 2020 at his home in Poplarville, MS. He was a long time St. Bernard parish resident, avid hunter, and loving father to his children and grandchildren. His pride and joy were found in his two daughters Kelly (Frank) and Sherry (Rock). He is also survived by his son Robert (Gabby) and stepsons Shawn (Jennifer) and Anthony, stepdaughter Michell; his sweetheart Bernadette; siblings, Jules, Dianna, Judy, Anita, and Jeanne; grandchildren, Shane, Cayla, Brock, Holly, Chaz, Jeremy, Ethan, Evan, Ivy, Mark, Jasmine, Trey, Lathan, and Alex; five great grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Adele Pepperman, father Jules Pepperman, and granddaughter Aeril Bartholomew. A gathering of family and friends and memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette.
