Frank James Coupel, Sr., passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 72. Frank was born on April 8, 1948 in New Orleans, LA. He was a resident of St. Bernard Parish until 2005 and a resident of Denham Springs for the past 15 years. Frank served in the United States Air Force and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen Gillan Coupel, one son, Frank Coupel, Jr., two daughters, Michelle Coupel Schubert (Bobby) and Christine Coupel Martinez (Brian) and six grandchildren, Blake, Zachary and Luke Schubert, Cody and Brianna Martinez, and Chad, three brothers, Wayne, Keith, and Rene Coupel, four sisters, Sandra C. Wixom, Monica C. Buras, Annette C. Beal and Marilyn C. Bridges. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Rene James Coupel, and his mother, Rita Gilchrist Coupel. Family and friends attended a visitation and service held at Live Oak United Methodist Church at 34890 LA Hwy. 16 in Denham Springs, LA on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
