She was one of six local women to play in the Junior League sponsored Texas Tennis Tournament of the Stars in 1975. She and daughter, Patti, reached the national level in the Mother-Daughter Tournament that was played at Flushing Meadows during the US Open. She was fun-loving and enjoyed family vacations across the country and abroad. She loved going back to her roots and spending time with her family and friends in her beloved New Orleans. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Vincent Louis Lagattuta, Jr., daughter, Patti Marie Parrott and son-in-law, Larry Del Santo. She is survived by her husband, William Patrick, of 62 years; daughters, Kelli Del Santo and Lesli Howland (Charles) and son-in-law, Roger Parrott. Her grandchildren, Larry Del Santo (Chris), Catherine Del Santo Davis (Nik), Will Del Santo, Ryan Harrigan (Kacie), Aaron Long (Lindsie), Daniel Long (Whitney), Patrick Long (Abigayle), Kelly Howland, Mallory Howland and great-granddaughter, Eloise Marie Davis. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with a private family committal to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. Please observe social distancing guidelines. The family wishes to thank Angela Scott and her staff at Brookdale Dowlen Oaks for their thoughtful and loving care for over 5 years, the Texas Home Health Hospice nurses and tennis friends who visited her frequently. Also, a special thanks to her dear friend on-and-off the court, Sue Simcox, for all her love and support.
