Carol Ann Temes passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband , Albert William Temes, Sr.; her parents: Albert Stephen Dittmann, Sr.; Dorothy Duclos Dittmann Cornibe; stepfather Joseph Cornibe; sister Dottie Dittmann; and brother Albert Dittmann, Jr. Carol is survived by her children: Albert W. Temes, Jr. (Kim); Stephen S. Temes (Laura); Cheryl Temes and Deborah Robichaux (Chris); grandchildren: Joshua Hood; Tarryn Hood; Rachel Hood; CJ Robichaux; Sierra Temes; Danica Robichaux; Gabriella Ledbetter and Sydney Ledbetter; and great grandchild Riddley Palmisano. Carol was an organist in the Catholic Church from the age of 18 and played in churches all over New Orleans, Chalmette and Jefferson Parish. She played for Pope John Paul II when he visited New Orleans. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and was involved in the Republican Women’s Club, the Dragon’s Dance Club, Saint Jude Society and The Fun Seekers. Family and friends attended a visitation and Catholic Mass on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA. Interment: Garden of Memories Cemetery.
