Nicholas James Menzato of Carriere, MS, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the age of 16. A native of Chalmette, LA, he was a student at Poplarville High School. Nicholas was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Paul Menzato, Jr.; and his grandfather, Paul Miller, Sr. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Joeseph Paul Menzato, Sr., mother, April Ann Sherwood Miller, stepfather Paul D. Miller, Jr., sister Hallie L. Miller, sister Maci M. Miller, grandmother Barbara A. (Hubert Hahn) Menzato, grandfather Dennis A. Menzato, grandmother Ellen U. Menzato, grandmother Kathy Sherwood, grandfather Joseph Sherwood, III, grandmother Louise Miller, great grandmother Aline Black, uncle Dennis A. (Kathy) Menzato, Jr., uncle Jeff C. Roberts, uncle Joseph (Jacelle) Sherwood, uncle James A. (Mindy) Sherwood, uncle Paul Joseph (Myra) Menzato, Jr., uncle Frank P. (Audrey) Auderer, aunt Lisa Hutcheson, aunt Tanya Brownell, uncle Joseph (Brenda) Maykut, and numerous cousins and countless friends. The memorial services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 6 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will also be Friday from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
