Leonard Philip King of Saint Bernard, LA, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the age of 95. Leonard was born April 27, 1925 in New Orleans, LA to the late Harry King and Argentine Dufrene King. Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Morales King, and then second wife, Merle Decker King, as well as his daughter Lenette King Ladner and siblings Nora King West, Madeline King Rutt and Clifford and Roy King. Leonard was the loving father of Wayne King (Pamela) and Sydney Mulnick (Dave) loving Grandfather of, Piper D. Bogle, Erin Benoit(Leon), Lisa Lopez, Lori Goll(Michael), Leni Engle (Rich), Robert Brown(Deborah) and Wayne King Jr. (Josie) and proud Great-Grandfather of Virginia Spencer, Alyssa Brown, Catherine Goll, Olivia Clontz, Isabella Lopez, Elizabeth King, Richard Spencer, Brandon Bogle Jaxon Benoit, Jeffrey King, Justin King, Alex Bordelon, Pablo Lopez and Seth Goll. Leonard was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the Marine Corps. Family and friends attended a visitation and funeral service at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Rd, St. Bernard, LA.
