Simpson Joseph Frame, Jr., passed away peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Marie Olivia Andre Frame. Loving father of Donna Frame Hemelt (Milton) and Simpson Joseph Frame III (Bridgette). Proud grandfather of Nicole Leigh Plain (Kalvin), Nina Hemelt (Jewel), Nisa Lynn Hemelt Mohon (Josh), Freddie Ubas (Tonya), Kelly Frame (Seth) and Ryan Frame. Brother of Betty Barker and Tina Devillier. He is survived and fondly remembered by his 18 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Annie Phillips Frame and Simpson Joseph Frame Sr., along with his three sisters and five brothers. Simpson was born in Palmetto, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Picayune, MS. He enjoyed a long career of 31 years with Kaiser Aluminum. Simpson truly enjoyed life through his simple pleasures of hunting, bowling with friends (and the Kaiser League) along with spending time with his family and friends. Simpson will always be remembered for his loyalty and dedication to his family, his loving spirit, his laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. He was wonderful example of what it means to care for others and will be deeply missed by us all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation followed by a Funeral Mass in Simpson’s memory held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Interment: St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette, LA. Honored Pallbearers were: Milton, S.J., John, Josh, K.P., Darren, Seth and Freddie.
