Kevin “KC” Campo

On November 6, 2021, the angels brought Kevin “KC” Campo home. He was the son of the late Lillian and Thomas Campo, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Lori Authement Campo of 38 years; his children, Kristy, Anjele, and Colton; his grandchildren, Victoria, Zak, and Jaden; his brother, Nicholas Campo; his sisters, Velma Morales, Elizabeth Metcalf, and Melanie Calhoun, as well as endless family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, the late Merlin Sr., Donald “Ducky,” and Thomas Jr.; and by his sisters, the late Claudette Melerine, Marlene Campo, Beverly Kostopoulos, and baby Wanda Campo. Kevin was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard where he worked as a commercial fisherman since a young boy. He enjoyed his adventures and traveled to exciting destinations. Near or far, relative or stranger, he always made a friend and always left his imprint. His memory lives on in all those he touched. He went on to fish other plentiful waters. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Fond memories and prayers will be offered in Kevin’s memory at 11:30 a.m. To sign and view the family guestbook, please visit www.stbernardmemorial.com
