Ralph “Pete” Edwin Harris, a veteran of the U.S. Army who proudly served his country, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 69. He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Robin R. Harris. Loving father of Jennifer Harris Andrews and Nicholas John Harris. Son of the late Charles E. Harris and Vivian Neaville Harris. Brother of Sharon Deas (Ricky), Sheila Pugh (WalterEd), Virginia “Ginger” Cowling (Bobby) and Marilyn Heard (Jimmy). Proud grandfather of Gavin Nicholas Harris, Ella Charlie Andrews and Saylor Gray Harris. Son-in-law of Elenora Gonzales Robin Mook (John) and the late Ronald Michael Robin. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, dear friends and especially his beloved dog, Sunshine. Pete was born in Ruston, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a Pipeline Technician with Southern Natural Gas. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by us all. Private services were held for Pete at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Interment: St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard, LA.
