Audrey Sheilah Joachim Auderer entered eternal life on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Chalmette, LA, at the age of 84. She was born in New Orleans on September 18, 1937 and was a proud resident of St. Bernard Parish for the last 51 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In September 1959, she married Frank Peter Auderer, Jr., the love of her life. Together they raised a family of four. Once her children were grown, she devoted her life to caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the center point of family life. Family traditions were always close to her heart. Her love for baking birthday cakes for her children and grandchildren soon became a way of teaching her granddaughters to bake for their children. She was the organizer of holidays, birthdays, and most importantly family Sunday dinners. Beloved daughter of the late James Edward Joachim and Gladys Victoria Walters. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Frank Peter Auderer, Jr. Mother of Sheilah Auderer Goodson (David), Frank P. Auderer, III (Yvette), Gina Auderer Binder (Mark), and Bryan J. Auderer. Proud grandmother of Amanda Auderer Pastor (Victor), Stephanie Binder Sauber (Stuart), and Christopher J. Binder. Great-grandmother of Jacob and Cameron Pastor, and Kate, William, and Paul Sauber. Survived by her brother Stanley Joachim (Susan) and brother-in-law Dennis Menzato, Sr. (late Ellen).
