Joyce Dupre LaCaze passed into the hands of the Lord October 14, 2021, in Lewisville, TX, at the age of 93. Joyce was born on the 9th of July, 1928 in New Orleans, LA, to Laura Miller Dupre and Lucien Joseph Dupre. She had a long and prosperous career as a proof-reader for court documents and later worked in various secretarial roles in the New Orleans area. While attending school in New Orleans she met Joseph Felix LaCaze Jr. and they were married on December 26, 1946, in St. Bernard Parish, LA. They raised two children and have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Joyce moved to the Dallas area in 2005 soon after she and Joseph retired. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Her funeral service will be held at a future date, to be determined, in New Orleans, LA, followed by her interment at St. Louis Cemetery #3.
