Herbert Lee Jordan, formerly of Violet, LA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 61. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Herbert Jordan and Ms. Ida Mae Williams. He is survived by his Probity Group Home family, longtime friends Mr. Shamus Rohn, Mr. Robert T. Mauss, Mr. Bob Wardlaw and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Herbert graciously allowed the Probity Group Home of Violet, LA to provide services to him for the past six years. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. A Funeral was held at First Baptist Church, 3737 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Raymond Smith as the Pastor and Rev. David E. Smith as the Eulogist. Interment followed at First Baptist Church Cemetery. Charbonnet Family Services handled the arrangements.
