Rosemary J. Pittman passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Lindsay Paul Pittman. Loving mother of Amanda “Tootie” Rose Pittman (Kenneth Sr.), Stephanie Lynn Miller (Randy Sr.), Kevin Romaguera and Keith Romaguera. Daughter of the late Rufus James and Daisy Brown James. Sister of the late Doris Leggett, Lois Brown Wallace Freeman and Joyce Burke. Proud grandmother of Samantha “Sam,” Randy Jr. “R.J.,” Ryan, Alexis “Sweetie,” Kenneth Jr. “Bug,” Priscilla “P.L.,” Casey and Stephen. Great grandmother of Brenden, Bryelle and Brooklyn. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and lifelong friends. Rosemary was born on November 20, 1948 in Brookhaven, MS and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. Rosemary was a devoted member High Praise Fellowship Church in Chalmette, LA. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Heart of Hospice, especially Bertha Skinner for dedicated care and support. Relatives and friends are invited to attended a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
