Alvin and Betty Nicosia were joined in marriage on April 15, 1956, and were reunited when Alvin passed away on April 17, 2017. Betty preceded him in death on June 22, 2012. Alvin was born to Johnny and Lucille Guerra Nicosia on August 28, 1937, in New Orleans, LA. Betty was born to E. Daniel Herod and J. Florence Ford Herod on December 30, 1937, in Greenville, MS. They are survived by their daughter, Shirley Erato, granddaughters Alison Bonnell (Ben) and Heather Tune (Brad), great-grandson Justin Fleischer and a soon-to-be-born great-grandson. Alvin was the brother of the late John Nicosia, Jr. (Estelle) and the late Rosemary Nicosia. Betty was the sister of Peggy Herod Crawford (Ken), Faye Herod Sturm (Jim), Jimmy Herod (Alma). A private service was previously held.
