She had the privilege of singing for Saint John Paul II when he visited New Orleans in September of 1987. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Roch Naquin, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 4640 Canal St. in New Orleans on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. Visitation at church will begin at 12 noon.
