Mary Ann Brennan Diecedue passed away in her home on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She was 58 years old. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Diecedue. Loving mother of Brandy Brennan Lalla (John) and Roberta Leah Adams. Stepmother of Kristen Diecedue (Jimmie), Alvin Diecedue Jr. (Heather), Matthew Vann (Amy), and Janet Diecedue (Talmadge). Grandmother of Evan Adams, Matthew Adams, and Jack Lalla. Also survived by many step-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Nora King and Carl Everett. Sister of Lorrie Mullen and the late Carl Everett Jr. and Charlie Everett. Mary Ann was a native of St. Rose and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She moved to Folsom after Katrina, and was a recent resident of Metairie to be closer to her family. She retired from Hibernia Bank (Capital One) after many years of dedicated service. She loved her dog Lulu, who has been her special companion since her husband’s passing. She loved traveling with her husband and family, including singing in the car. Her favorite thing in the world was to bring surprises to her grandchildren. Mary Ann will be sorely missed for her selflessness, sense of humor, and giving nature. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society are preferred. Family and friends attended her visitation and funeral service at Leitz-Eagan Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2017. An online guestbook is available at www.leitzeaganfuneralhome.com.
