Alice Serpas Schexnayder Dolese passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 73. Wife of the late Morgan L. Dolese by second marriage and Claude Schexnayder by first marriage. Loving mother of Denise Schexnayder Labue (Michal), Phyllis Schexnayder Peabody (Warren) and Keith Michael Hardeman. Daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Jourdan Serpas. Sister of Margaret Hoffer Balsamo, Sylvia Purcella (Joseph “J.D.”) and Cookie LeBlanc. Proud grandmother of Michal Labue Jr., Laurie Labue Gurley, Dustin Peabody, Devin Peabody and Ariel Hardeman. Also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Alice was born on April 1, 1944 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a line operator for LA Frey and Sons and retired after many years of dedicated service. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W.
