Salvatore Joseph Lombardo passed away in Camden SC on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Jacqulyn Bruce Lombardo. Father of Wendy L. Mays, (Melvin A.), Son of the late Sam Lombardo and Vivian Reiser Lombardo. Brother of John Lombardo, Sr. (Carol). Survived by nephews John Lombardo, Jr. (Connie), Steve Lombardo Sr. (Della), numerous great nephews, nieces and cousins. Born in New Orleans, he lived in St. Bernard until 1991. Upon retiring as a longtime Deputy with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Department, Sal moved to Poplarville MS and subsequently Camden, SC. Relatives and friends attended visitation and mass at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, 70124 on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Burial followed at Lakelawn Park Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
