Alice Camille Howard, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 15, 2017, surrounded by her beloved family, at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Heuitte H. Howard, Jr., and her loving parents, Marie Kelty Alphonso and Joseph Alphonso, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Lemoine, and sons Heuitte H. “Butch” Howard, III and Jeff Howard (Lisa.), eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Alice was the loving sister of Joseph Alphonso, Jr., Althea Menesses, Eugene Alphonso, John Alphonso, and the late Betty Melerine, Robert Alphonso, and Jack Alphonso. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends attended an evening visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, November 20, 2017, and a morning visitation followed by mass in the chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Alice was laid to rest in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
