Patricia Buelle Mayer passed away on February 1, 2018 at the age of 81. She was the beloved mother of April Cook (Tommy), Cindy Forstall (Blake), and the late Debbie Hill (Kennith). Grandmother of Tommy Cook, Jr. (Michelle), Justin P. Cook (Jessica), Blake Forstall, Jr., Stephanie Reynolds (John), Melissa McCarthy, Brandon Whitaker, and Jason Whitaker. Great-grandmother of Tommy Cook III, Caitlyn Cook, Deuce J. Cook, Daniel Sigur, III, John Reynolds, Jr., Landon Reynolds, Ashleigh Chiek, Nicholas Chiek, and Alexis McCarthy. She also leaves behind a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. She was much loved, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. A visitation and funeral service was held in Patricia’s honor on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette. She was laid to rest in Restlawn Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to those performing Alzheimers research.
