Tyra Lynn Matthews entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the age of 43. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted companion, Orlando Barnes, seven daughters Teryllynn Mathews, Tyra M. Vanison, Cassandra M. Vanison, Errol'Nell Matthews, Tyra Nicsha Matthews, Johnnisha Matthews and Jo-Nisha Green, four sons Erroll M. Allen, Jonathan Matthews, Joshua Green and Lamar Isidore, Jr. Four grand-daughters Tyryanna Vanison, Morgan Vanison, Logan Vanison and Ca'tyi M. Vanison. One grandson Michael J. Levasseur, Jr. Her parents Sandra Mathews and Lawrence Jones, one sister Emelda, three brothers Robert Matthews, Lawrence Matthews and Jerome Matthews. Preceeded in death by her broth Kurt Matthews. Also survived by a host of nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Relatives and friends attend her services on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Charbonnet-Labat- Glapion Family Services, 1615 St. Philip St, NOLA in the Chapel of Roses.
