Carrie Marie Plaisance Ganier passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 with her family at her side at the age of 41. She is survived by her parents: Joyce-Ann Rita Breaud Plaisance and Freddie John Plaisance. The loving mother of Jeffrey Plasiance, Mitchel Ganier, Jr. and Jacques Ganier. The proud grandmother of Harper Plaisance. Sister of Marion Garcia (David), Desiree Hart (Roger), Jessielynn Plaisance LaSalle. Godmother of Terrence Van Nguyen, Jr. She is also survived by her life partner, Tom Butler, her very close friend, Benique “Nicki” McCulloch numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her furry companions. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Meraux, Louisiana. She enjoyed reading, gardening, taking care of her furry babies, cooking and mainly taking care of her family. She was everyone’s mother. She never met a stranger. Relatives and friends attended a visitation and funeral service at Westside Leitz- Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
