Roselyn Martin Barrios - October 22, 1929 - March 20, 2018 Roselyn Martin Barrios on March 20, 2018 at age 88. Roselyn was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, August ‘Gus’ Barrios, Jr.; Mother Catherine Meyer Martin; Father Reinhardt Martin; sisters Yvonne M. Gerdes and Dorothy M. Vinsanau; grandson Nicholas Barrios; and daughter-in-law Terri Barrios. Roselyn is survived by two sons Stephen and Daniel Barrios (Carol); grandchildren Jeffrey and Rachel Barrios, and Alicia Barrios Mahaffey (David); and great grandchildren Glenn Glaub and Liam Mahaffey. Visitation was held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA, and a funeral mass began afterward. Interment followed in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made, in her memory, to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
