Elliott F. Peralta, Jr. passed away surrounded his loving family on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his residence in Covington, LA, at the age 91. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea War in the US Marine Corp. He retired from Shell Oil Co. after 37 years of service. He was a volunteer at St. Tammany Parish Hospital for the past 13 years. Born, Tuesday, April 26, 1927 in New Orleans, LA to Elliott F. Peralta and Thelma Kiefner Peralta. He was a lifelong resident of Chalmette until 2005 (Katrina) and resided in St. Tammany Parish since. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years Phyllis Knight Peralta, Sons - the late David E. Peralta, Steven L. Peralta, (Amy) and Daughter - Loretta P. Gill (Tinker), 8 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his Parents and Son - Elliott “Chip” Peralta, Brother - Elmer Peralta, and Sister - Irma Peralta. Relatives and friends attended a visitation and mass on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
