Santo A. Migliore, Sr., passed away on June 11, 2018 at the age of 72. He was born in New Orleans, LA, to the late Anthony Migliore Sr. and Rosalie Catalano Migliore. He was the beloved husband of Judy Mistretta Migliore for 28 years. Loving father of Santo “Sammy” Migliore (Lisa), Brandon Migliore (Angelle), Angelina Buras (Clyde), Heidi Burnette, and Charlen Campo (Don). Proud grandfather of Hayden (Emily), Andre, Tommy, Mia, Macy and Mary Elle Migliore, PFC Andrew Burnette, Hailey Burnette, Chelsea Hayes (Hunter), Gabrielle Campo, Ashley and Allie Buras. Great grandfather to Bentley Lane Hayes. Loving Brother of Jackie Kastner (Bobby), Lori Conforto, and Anthony “Tony” Migliore Jr. He also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews and friends. He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his poodle and furever friend, Baby Reba Mae. Santo was employed by IBEW Local 130 for nearly 25 years. He was later an Administrator for Dr. Samuels and Huddleston, Inc. He was co-owner of MBS, Inc., where he ultimately retired. He resided in St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katrina and was a current resident of Slidell, LA. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, father-inlaw, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed cruises, going to the Silver Slipper Casino, going to movies, fishing and gadgets. Santo served in the Louisiana Army National Guard in the early 60’s. He was a kind hearted and generous soul and will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends attended a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, June 15, 2018. A Funeral Mass was held afterward. He was laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
