Marian Couture Serigne, a retired secretary, died Monday, June 25, 2018 due to health complications. Mrs. Serigne was 90 years old. She was the daughter of her deceased parents Edward "Bill" Couture and Marie Molero Couture, and her deceased brother Clifton "Buddy" Couture. Survivors include her son Brooks (Yolande) and daughter Tracy (Adrian) Montalbano. She was loved and known as Granny to her beautiful grandchildren Shelly (Kenny), Brandon, Brooks and Blake. Her great grandchildren Jordyn (Lee), Jasmyn, Kennedy, Kenny, Michael and Kaylynn. She was the godmother to Cliff Couture, Jr., Allan Molero and Bonnie Chaplain Jacoby. Marian was a very devout Catholic and volunteered many hours at San Pedro Catholic Church. She loved going to the casino, playing bingo and spending time with her family around the holidays. Marian was employed with the St. Bernard Parish Government, St. Bernard Parish Water Board and Bergeron Industries. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd., Violet, LA on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
