Margo Claire Kattengell Albe passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John James Albe Sr. for 47 years. Loving mother of John Albe Jr. (Cindy), Claire Colombo (Vic) and Ann Redd (John). Daughter of the late Alexander Louis Kattengell and Clara Floegel Kattengell. Sister of the late Marvin Kattengell. Proud grandmother of Melissa Burns (Je‑ ), Mandy Gerrets (Ben), Kerri Caputo (Steve), John Albe (Jamie), Jillian Albe, Joshua Redd, Tyler Redd, Jordan Redd (Allison), Timothy Redd (Mia) and Heidi Redd (Rusty). Great grandmother of Brady, Brianna, Colton, Austin, Allie, Talan, Kaden, Cade, Kenly, Layla, Wyatt and John Michael. Margo was born on September 8, 1929 in New Orleans, LA. She was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a current resident of Lafayette, LA. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
