Odile Reddick Dison entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the age of 95. She is a native of St. Bernard Parish, and the beloved wife of the late Joseph Dison. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters: Judy Mercadal (Michael), Carolyn Daggons (David), and Betty Dison. Her sons: Clement (Gail), Ernest (Gwendolyn), Harold and William Dison. Odile was preceded in death by her daughters: Emeldia “Fox” Dison-Wilson and Rosemary Dison-Thompson. The home-going celebration to commemorate her life was held at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092, Saturday, July 7, 2018. Bishop Henry Ballard Jr. Pastor, & Rev. Blair Mitchell Sr., of Plymouth Rock Baptist Church, Houma, LA., officiated. All neighboring churches of St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Orleans, and Terrebonne parishes attended. Interment: Merrick Cemetery in Violet. Lawson - Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
