James Monroe Pearson, Jr passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at his home in Saint Bernard, LA at the age of 65. He was born in New Orleans, LA, but resided in Picayune, MS, for 35 years. James moved to Saint Bernard within the last four years to be closer to family. His hobbies included anything Chevy trucks and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also loved to cook. Loving husband to his wife Donna Mistretta Pearson for the past 20 years. Spouse of the late Linda Miller. Devoted step father to Nathan Pilet (Cassie), April Pilet, Emilee Mercadel (Frank), Kelly Pilet and Shawna Miller Martin. Brother of Betty Beard, the late Emmett “Buddy” Pearson, the late Ellen “Ann” Pearson, and the late Paul Pearson. Grandfather to Corey, Nathaniel, Cameron, Jadin, Ayonna, Tia, Jason, Maya, Violet, Nick, and the late Joshua Smith. Loving Uncle to Justin, Daniel, Christian and Savannah. Son to the late James and Edna Pearson. Relatives and friends of the family attended a Memorial Mass at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 915 W.
