Leo “Yann” Jones was welcomed home by God in his infinite wisdom on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Lillie Jones and six siblings, Isaac Jr., Sterling, Lionel, Felton, Edward and Pearl Jones. He leaves his memories to his loving wife, LaTaisha Jones; five children, LaQuetta (Sidney) Cole, Donna (Mike) Shaheen, Robin (Harry) Picot, Leo Washington, and Ronald (Jine) Washington; three stepchildren, Derrelle Singleton, Darius Stokes and Sylvia Collins; 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Family, friends and members of Greater Morning Star Baptist Church of Algiers, Orleans Parish, St. Bernard Parish and surrounding areas attended his visitation and Home Going Celebration on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E.
