Myrtle Blakeway Suprean passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 103. Myrtle was born on November 26, 1914 in New Orleans, LA, where she lived most of her life until moving to Arabi in 1989 and then Covington in 2006. She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church. She was the beloved mother of Diane S. Terrell and proud grandmother of Leslie Terrell Salinero (Christian) and Kellie Terrell Strawley (Jason). She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Ricouard. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd “Ike” Suprean and son-in-law, Bruce Terrell. Family and friends attended the funeral service at First English Lutheran Church, 3701 Cleary Avenue, Metairie, LA 70002 on Thursday, October 11, 2018 with visitation beginning until service time. Interment followed at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA 70043. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First English Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
