Charmaine Dwyer Young entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the home of her daughter, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66. She was welcomed into Heaven by her precious mother and father, Lois and Albert Dwyer. Charmaine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Charles Young and their children, Jordan and Faith (Glenn). She will also be remembered and missed by her beloved grandsons, Cody, Matthew, Ryan, Jacob, Zachary, and step-grandson Nicholas, and by her brother Larry Dwyer, sister-in-law Marie, nephew, Donovan (Christy), and great-nephews, Mason, Jaden, and Skyler. Charmaine was a wonderful woman that was immensely loved and will be missed until the day we meet again. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed singing, watching hummingbirds, drinking hot tea, and caring for her dog, Muffy. Family and friends attended a Celebration of Charmaine’s Life and visitation on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 115 East D’Amour St, Chalmette. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Heart of Hospice for their support in her final days.
