Rose Brown passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the age of 80. Loving mother of Harry Elliot Brown, Jr. (Maddie), Kenneth James Brown, Sr. (Tracy) and the late Stacy Brown. Grandmother of Magen, Adam (Nicole), Kenneth, Jr. (Sonja), Matthew (Destiny), Katie and Valeri. Great-grandmother of Oliver and Zoe. Sister of Claire Scott. Mother-in-law of Jackie Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Elliot Brown, Sr., and her parents, John Braniff and Anna Flohr Braniff. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and dear friends. A gathering of friends and family will be held for Rose on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
