Randall Neal “Randy” Davidson went home to see his Savior on December 14, 2018 after battling a chronic illness at the age of 70. Randy was the son of Montez Janet (Thames) Davidson and the late Rufus Neal “R.N.” Davidson. He was born August 18, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Chalmette High School and then earned his Baccalaureate at Louisiana State University where he also played basketball. Randy is survived by his three sons, Robert (Cori) and Matthew (Rachel) from his late wife Judith Lynn Hill Davidson, and Christopher from his wife Sally Jeter McCreight Davidson, along with seven grandchildren, Benjamin Seth, Elam Neal, Gracelyn Judith, Rogan James, Zoe Elena, Audrey Elizabeth, and Hadleigh Lynn. He is also survived by his mother Montez Davidson, sister Derryle Barrow (Harold), brother Dr. Ricky Davidson (Annette), and his nieces and nephew. Randy was a skillful hunter and athlete. He was a construction expert and talented negotiator, building a business legacy throughout Louisiana as the kind of man with whom people desired to do business. What Randy was most passionate about was building other people’s lives. He used his influence to help countless others grow in their faith and become better individuals. His legacy stretches much further than we will know in this life and will continue long after his passing. He will be dearly missed. The services and visitation was held Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Open Range Fellowship, 9950 US-80, Greenwood, LA 71033. Special thanks to Dr. Anthony Stuart and Dr. Nihar Patel for their kind and adept care.
