Caprice Renee Smith

Born on March 24, 1962 in Denver, Colorado, Caprice Renee Smith was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and spent many years there before moving to Watertown, Massachusetts 11 years ago. She became a Teacher’s Assistant through Mississippi Gulf Coast CC and the University of New Orleans. Her house is full of New Orleans Saints memorabilia, her parties revolved around games, and her talented cooking abilities were based upon New Orleans cuisine. Caprice, the life of a party, loved and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed collecting antiques, original Fiesta ware, and doing puzzles. She was a music buff and was the catalyst in bringing Melissa Etheridge to Charleneís in New Orleans in the infancy of Ms. Etheridgeís musical career. Caprice will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Caprice is survived by her devoted and loving partner of 11 years Deborah M. Shaer of Watertown, her dear brother Leonard A.
