Dolores Wormwood Brickley was affectionately known as “Bo-Ree” peacefully transitioned in her sleep Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late John A. Brickley, loving and devoted mother of Shannon B. Dawson (Darwin), two grandsons Darwin, II, and Dylan (Houston, TX); and sister of Jessie Reynolds (Lake Providence). A life-long resident of New Orleans, LA, Dolores retired from the Urban League of Greater New Orleans after serving as V.P. of Administration and Finance for 40 years. She was a graduate of G. W. Griffin High School in Lake Providence and Southern University A &M College, Baton Rouge, LA. Dolores was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chalmette. Relatives and friends attended a visitation and Celebration of Life on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3613 Saint Charles Ave. New Orleans, LA.
