Chikita Marie “Tiny” Blanchard Foucha entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2019 at the age of 37. She was a graduate of Frederick A. Douglass Sr. High School’s Class of 1999. She was also a longtime, dedicated employee and manager of Rainbow Apparel in Chalmette, LA for 17 years. Chikita leaves behind to cherish her memory: husband Stephen Foucha, daughters Aniayah and Stephanie Foucha, mother Shirley Blanchard, Pops Kenneth Phillips, sisters Keshawna (Malcolm) Bacchus and Geneva Blanchard, grandmother Geneva Celestine, godmother Ruby (Wayne) Jones of West Monroe, LA, godsister Chelsea Elloie, nephew and nieces Donte’ Emilien, De’ja Singleton, Jonathan Leonard, Jamyri Blanchard and Sanaa Bacchus; long time best friend, Charita Jones; mother-in-law and father-in-law Janet and James Foucha, stepchildren, Stephen Foucha Jr., Tiawanda (Tyron) Rivers, Christopher, Holly, Christian and Penny Foucha, and Darryl Cobb; 14 step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by her father, the late Reginald Lewis and grandmother, June Lewis.
