Carroll A. Topey passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of
77. He was the cherished husband of Janice Richard Topey for 51 years. Loving father of Troy Topey (Amy) and the late Kirk Topey (the late Michelle). Son of the late Faust Topey Sr. and Jeanne Alphonso Topey. Brother of the late Faust Topey Jr, Roy Topey, Floyd Topey and Ralph Topey. Proud grandfather of Justin Topey (Rebekah), Ashley Nation (Clinton), Kylie Topey, Leighton Topey, Ashley Robino and Tyler Topey. Great grandfather of Rylee Topey, Brantley Topey, Brayen Nation, Kinsley Nation, Landon Stasney and Ashlyn Topey. Also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Carroll was born on March 12, 1941 in Violet, LA and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, golfing but especially spending time with his family. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends and all of those whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends attended a visitation and funeral service held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.
