Robert “Bob” Lapeyrouse passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Grunik Lapeyrouse. Son of the late Russell and Valerie Springer Lapeyrouse. Brother of Judy Benandi (A.J.) and the late Jeanette Laudun (Ralph) and Emile Lapeyrouse (Nathalie). Uncle of Lisa Reaney, Angie Pogue, John Laudun, Kim Cure, Russell Lapeyrouse and Emile Lapeyrouse Jr. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many relatives and dear friends. Bob was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a produce manager. He lived a quiet life, finding pleasure in the details of everyday life. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched. Visitation and a funeral service was held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, February 4. 2019.
