Paul Francis Brunner passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Julia Lions Brunner for 67 years. Loving father of Nancy Brunner Baird (Charles), Randy Patrick Brunner (Candice) and Brian Paul Brunner (Jennifer). Son of the late Raymond and Eunice Laux Brunner. Brother of Marion B. Montz (Max) and the late Richard F. Brunner (Vivian). Proud grandfather of nine grandchildren (Amanda, Michael, Hannah, Zoey, Adam, Darci, Lillian, Dylan, and Tommy) and six great grandchildren (Adriana, Jayden, Bailey, Brees, Amelia, and Bowen) who were the apples of his eyes. Paul was born on September 6, 1928 in New Orleans, LA and was a current resident of Covington, LA. He worked for Texaco, Inc. for 45 years, and was a proud US Army-National Guard Veteran who was honorably discharged after 6 years of service. His passions in life were his family and travelling. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family, friends and all of those whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1 p.m. He will be laid to rest with military honors in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
